Spartronics 4915 and its robot NEMESIS competed in Day 1 of the FIRST Robotics Competition in Bonney Lake. Spartronics completed the day with a record of 6-4, ranking 14th out of 35 teams. Check out the live stream on Twitch
Worldwide kickoff was at 9 AM on Saturday, January 6th. Our whole team gathered to watch the livestream announcement, and we even got to see some alumni too! We started working on strategies and building the actual robot. It’s time to
Mechanics and Design: Mechanics were building a mock field for the robot to practice on, and building the robot’s chassis. Design was prototyping plywood models of some of the robot’s mechanisms and tinkering on CAD.
