We are Shorewood finalists!

On March 21 - 22, Spartronics Team 4915 went to our second district event of the season at Shorewood High School. After competing in the qualification matches, we were in 10th place. During the Alliance Selections, the 4th highest ranking team, Wild Robotocats Team 3787 picked us as their first pick. They also picked us at Glacier Peak, so we knew we would work well with them. The third team in our alliance was BraveBots Team 4682.
We fought our way through the quarter and semi finals, and against all odds, made it to the finals. We were up against CPR (Cedar Park Robotics) Team 3663, IRS (Issaquah Robotics Society) Team 1318, and Mountaineers Team 4654. Although we lost to them, making it to finals and getting second place is an amazing achievement.
Thank you to everyone who came and supported us; at one point we had 70 Spartronics members and fans in the audience! It was so much fun to see everyone there, and we hope that we will see you at Cheney!

It's official; we made it to Districts

Last week, all of the district events in the PNW finally came to an end, and we could see if we ranked high enough to go to Districts or not. The top 64 teams in the PNW get to go, and we are currently ranked 25th!
Districts, or Regionals, is held in Cheney, WA at Eastern Washington University. We will be competing there April 1 - 4.
As you may remember, at Glacier Peak we won the "Engineering Inspiration Award". We will also be competing for this award at Regionals, and if we win, we automatically qualify to attend Worlds WITH our robot. Wish us luck!
